I have two red flags. 1) I am hyper aware of allegations against musicians (alt kid deformation tbh, to quote Scene Queen “half my idols are fucking losers”) and 2) I am a sucker for ship/fic specific playlists. Which unfortunately led to realizing that 90% of people are blissfully unaware of who they’re supporting or just don’t care to know.
Before I get hit with “separate art from artist” - unless the artist is dead, that’s impossible feat. The artist will always benefit. If you told me Jules Verne was an ass - I wouldn’t care, he’s not seeing a cent from his work. But All Time Low is.
